Welcome to the MERJ Beginner’s Guide to Massage Accredited Training Course - your entry into professional massage therapy training through a blend of flexible online learning and hands-on practical experience.

Your programme has been carefully designed to guide you through the foundations of Swedish massage, including massage techniques, body awareness, client care, consultation skills, and hands-on practice. You will receive a downloadable digital manual for instant access, along with a professionally printed hard copy delivered to your door by post.

As the foundation of modern massage therapy, Swedish massage is the first and most widely recognised style of massage, with many advanced massage techniques and treatments deriving from its principles. This beginner massage course is designed to give you the confidence, knowledge, and practical skills needed to begin your journey into the massage and wellness industry.

The theory element of the course is completed online at your own pace and must be finished within 6 weeks before attending your in-person practical training day at MERJ Massage studio.

With the In-Person Training add-on, you will attend a full practical training day where you will work hands-on with live models, refine your massage routine and techniques, and receive personalised guidance and support from Megan.

This practical day is also an opportunity to revisit any theory elements you may be unsure of, helping you build confidence and perfect your treatment flow in a professional studio environment.

Your final practical assessment will take place in person during your training day. Upon successful completion, you will leave fully qualified in Swedish massage therapy with your accredited certification awarded on the day.

This accredited massage course has been designed to meet recognised UK training standards, allowing you to obtain professional massage insurance for yourself and your business upon qualification.
